What’s a Closet Treasures Sale?
Now in its 7th year, the YWCA Closet Treasures Sale is a two-day fundraising event that supports the important work of Dress for Success Seattle. At the event, members of the community are invited to purchase designer and name brand clothing items at significant discounts with 100% of the proceeds benefitting Dress for Success Seattle.
What’s Dress for Success?
Since 1998, Dress for Success Seattle has worked to advance low-income women's economic and social development and to encourage self-sufficiency through career development and employment retention. Dress for Success responds to the needs of our communities by providing programs that help economically disadvantaged women acquire jobs, retain their new positions and succeed in the mainstream workplace. Dress for Success Seattle is one of 78 world-wide affiliates and is locally managed by the YWCA of Seattle • King • Snohomish.
The mission of Dress for Success is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
